Chuck Clemens is a prolific inventor on sixteen patents and various other patent applications in the fields of Drug Delivery, In-Vitro Diagnostic Systems, and Hemodialysis Systems. Chuck’s association with Fallbrook Engineering, Inc. (FEI) goes back to the late 1980s when he managed Mechanical Engineering at IVAC Corporation and hired FEI to consult on various intravenous pump design issues. Since leaving IVAC in 1995 and developing his own consulting firm, Chuck has continued his successful collaborations with FEI, to this day.  With over 40 years centered in the Medical Device and Biomedical Industries, he has worked directly with design and management to develop several FDA approved medical products such as the clinical IV drug infusion systems, blood handling and dialysis systems, drug pen injectors, drug inhalers, and the Pyrolytic Carbon heart valves and dental implants.

Chuck’s FEI Senior Associate experience background includes 20 plus years of medical device centered Expert Witness work encompassing dozens of product liability and patent litigation cases, reports, depositions, and trial testimony.

Mr. Clemens earned his BSME from San Diego State University and is a devoted Aztec supporter.

“Chuck is an innovative, thorough, and detailed professional, who has become a loyal friend,” remarked Dick Meyst, President/CEO of Fallbrook Engineering.  When Chuck is not busy with clients you can find him at a Padres game or attending SDSU sports and concerts with his wife Nancy and friends.
