So I was trying to decide between the new Lincoln 3350 with the grind button and this hood. This good win me because the side windows also unlike every other Miller helmet I used (infinity, elite both had clearlight tech) this is the first Miller that didn't have that ugly green color while welding. It actually looks like it should, also the head gear is extremely comfortable. I didn't need a flip up grind shield otherwise I would of gotten the Lincoln FGS honestly but those hoods drive me nuts. I also tried the Esab sentinel and was not impressed at all, tiny viewing field on that one. Another thing is with how this hood is colored I stayed way cooler then with the Lincoln good I have a 4c 3350 That's the old style, but while welding all you can see is the arc honestly and this hood you can see the arc and where your welding which I like for perception while welding. Genuinely a great good and I used to bleed red only so it's weird saying this about a blue product. Also Xmode is the best thing ever out in the sun and I have never had an issue with another welder causing mine to darken. One more thing I remembered Miller has amazing service which is another reason I bought this hood. I had a half mask and it melted and it was out of warranty they actually reached out to me sent me a replacement. That was huge on why I have Miller a fair chance while buying a new good and I am really glad I did.

This is a great helmet. Visibility is awesome. Easy to adjust. I urge you to get this one as opposed to smaller viewing areas. Yes, you may save a few bucks BUT the larger viewing area is so great you will be sorry you didn't get this one. And Miller customer service is great and very responsive.
