This plasma cutter nozzle is specially manufactured for the Hypertherm Powermax 45 XP, Hypertherm Powermax 65, Powermax 85, and Powermax 105 plasma cutters. When a plasma cutter nozzle and a powered electrode reach metal, the spark causes the gas to become plasma. The torch-cutting nozzle has an orifice designed to limit the arc to a specific diameter without the arc actually touching the nozzle.
