The Sarah Bear is a teddy bear that is fitted with a model prosthetic leg. It was designed as a therapeutic device for children and families of children who struggle with feeling "different" for having a prosthetic limb or any other physical challenge.

Fallbrook Engineering worked closely with the concept originator to design and create commercial quality sales samples of the leg prosthetic. Fallbrook Engineering used SolidWorks to create the bear's prosthetic leg design, eDrawings to show and fine tune the design with the client, stereolithography to make the first parts and silicone rubber models to cast both rigid and elastomeric finished parts.
